Rollerball

What is the difference between a rollerball and an ink roller?

The difference is that a rollerball uses a rollerball refill, similar to a ballpoint pen refill. This rollerball refill contains the writing fluid, which is evenly dispensed through a ball at the tip when writing. The writing experience with a rollerball is light and fluid; the writing tip follows your hand movement without the slightest resistance. When the rollerball refill is empty, it is replaced as easily as a ballpoint pen.
An ink roller , on the other hand, writes with normal ink, like a fountain pen. For this, normal ink cartridges (fountain pen cartridges) or piston converters are used. Like the rollerball , there is a ball at the writing tip that rolls lightly and fluidly with every writing movement, thus evenly applying the ink to the paper. The writing experience is just as light and pleasant as with a rollerball.

Rollerball with individual engraving

We offer our rollerball writing instruments with individual and personal engravings. One engraving is always free of charge. Optionally, you can also order these writing instruments with a second engraving below or on the back. Simply enter your desired engraving in the text field and select a font. A preview of the engraving in the selected font will then be displayed. Simply switch through the fonts until you find one you like. Add it to your cart, and a few days later, you'll hold your "Engraved Rollerball" in your hands.

Ink roller with personal engraving

We also offer our ink rollers with individual and personal engravings. As with the rollerball, the first engraving is free, and a second engraving can optionally be ordered, for example, on the back. An ink roller combines the advantages of a fountain pen with the easy handling of a ballpoint pen. We personalize each ink roller with your desired engraving to create a truly unique gift.

Logo engravings on rollerball or ink roller

Engraving logos or other graphics is also possible. We offer a variety of graphics and symbols that you can add to your cart if desired.
To engrave your own logos or graphics, we need a black and white vector graphic in .cdr or .eps format. PDF format templates are also usually usable, provided that the document is saved as curves rather than text in the PDF saving options. The surcharge for a logo engraving depends on the order quantity.
Since the engraving surface on a rollerball or ink roller is quite small (max. 5-6 mm high), only relatively simple logos and graphics can be engraved. We would be happy to check on request whether your template would be suitable.
